I’m curious by nature, which means I have a habit of asking a lot of questions. I promise I usually find my way back to the original point.

I’m especially drawn to people who know things I don’t. Tell me about the field you’ve spent years mastering, the place you can’t stop returning to, or the hobby you’ve become unexpectedly obsessed with. I love the feeling of someone opening a door into a part of the world I haven’t discovered yet.

I’m playful, affectionate, a little sarcastic, and probably more mischievous than you might expect. I like the kind of familiarity that builds slowly: remembering the little things, making plans, celebrating each other, and knowing when a tease will make the other person laugh.

A good menu can keep me entertained far longer than it probably should. I love raw dishes, beautifully prepared classics, creative tasting menus, and restaurants with a story behind them. Champagne will always have my heart, although lately I’ve been interested in martinis. A perfectly chilled Vesper in the right room can make for a fantastic evening.

I’m still learning what I want. I want variety… smart, dynamic friends (& lovers), limited release movies, James Beard or Michelin-starred dinner reservations with thick wine books.

 

I like discovering things, and I like discussing them. I come with my own thoughts and opinions, a growing list of places I want to see, and enough curiosity to make getting there half the fun.
